oldies are my fav

Spent the evening going through old family photos and scanning them in. I have been in love with the look of old photos for a long time and just never got around to digging any out of the loft. It's funny really how happy life seemed on all of these photos ... I know you of course will only take photos during happy moments but everything in general looks so happy and I THINK I AM BASICALLY SAYING I AM A TEENAGER IN THE WRONG ERA. Seriously, I wish so much that times were like the 60s, 80s or 90s again! As much as I enjoy my DSLR and my laptop and iphone ... I think technology has expanded a little too much. It's pretty much taking over the world. It's not often you see kids playing with cardboard boxes building forts or lemonade stands. I think I am just very nostalgic these days, even if I was only born in the 90s!

I've been really busy lately and kind of abandoned this blog (again, my bad). So tired from work but I just wanted to share what I'd been up to and how lovely these photos are. Also, I am finally 18 in 9 days yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  1. I love going through old photos , it makes me feel all warm and glowy inside. These are all so cute ! You must be really excited for your birthday xx.

  2. I sorted out all of my childhood pictures a few days ago that my mum kept in a plastic bag on top of her wardrobe and placed them in photo albums. Film photos do have something special and beautiful about them since they captured so much happiness in just one, old piece of paper. I love taking pictures with film for this reason even if I have an slr haha!

  3. These pictures are lovely! I agree with you, everything seems better in the past. I went through lots of my old pictures in the summer and now I wish that I never grew up!

  4. These photos are absolutely adorable! I love looking at old pictures, you always remind the situation and the atmosphere when the photo was taken.. xx

Thank you in advance, for taking the time to share your words.
