happy and glorious

I spent Monday in Alderley Edge with Kelsey and Beth. I'm sure those who read my blog will know that Kelsey is my best friend ... who lives thousands of miles away in Canada. It was nice of her to come over at the time of the jubilee and we went to appreciate the English countryside with my fellow Manchester-er Beth.

We witnessed a really posh jubilee tea party with peaceful violin music playing and women dressed in extremely elegant tea dresses, it was all very lovely. I am now currently listening to a playlist of songs from Season 1, 2 and 3 of The Vampire Diaries drinking tea. I think I'm going to soak in a hot bath and finally paint my nails later on afterwards (I've been leaving my terribly damaged nails to recover for over a month now!). I'm extremely excited for Big Brother tonight! The launch night has been a big thing in my life ever since the first series due to my mothers love for the show. Hope you all had a lovely BH weekend.

  1. I love how Royal events like the jubilee can unify the whole country, it was so lovely to see everyone coming together to support the Queen's achievement. Oh my gosh, ever since the Royal Wedding my crush on Prince Harry has reached new levels haha

  3. last summer when William and Katherine came to Canada I was glued to the television watching the coverage it was really interesting. sadly I lived in none of the cites they visited.

Thank you in advance, for taking the time to share your words.
